Our first event of the new season was a job-site tour of the Hughes Center, also known as Hughes High School. Members toured the construction site and got a view of Cincinnati from the rooftop! The tour was followed by a stop at a local pub for some refreshments.

Another one of our events was a social gathering at the world famous Cincinnati Zoo! The event took place during Festival of Lights on Wednesday, December 10 and was open to members and non-members. A great turnout got to see plenty of animals 'up close and personal' and enjoyed the always popular Festival of Lights.

Our thanks to Steve Melink for hosting a tour the Melink Corporation's 'green'. Melink is a leader in energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions for commercial, institutional and residential buildings. Members enjoyed learning about solar, wind and other renewable energy sources.

The last program of the year prior to the golf outing was held at the Crowne Plaza in Blue Ash at 5901 Pfeiffer Road (I-71 @ Pfeiffer Road) on May 22, 2009 at 7:30 A.M. Our breakfast meeting was enhanced by Mr. Steve Haber. Mr. Haber has extensive experience in facilitating coaching and business consulting services. He presented discussion which was interactive, enlightening and informative!

Our last program of the year was the annual golf outing which was well attended. the weather was beautiful and Montgomery Inn food was great as usual. We again would like to thank our main sponsor, ComputerEase for their generosity in helping to make this event successful and raise $$ for the two scholarships CFMA presents to worthy UC and NKU applicants.
